SUNDAY 11th APRIL 2010 11:05(BST)

THIS DAY IN WW2 (11.4.40)
In Norway... The King and government appeal to all Norwegians to fight. A new Commander in Chief, General Ruge, is appointed for the Norwegian Army. He replaces General Laake, who has resigned.
In Belgium... The Belgian army cancels all leaves.

TODAY IN MY LIFE
All sorts of exciting and frenetic online activity punctuated by servicing the queen bee.

TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
My thoughts make brilliant advisors but poor misguided leaders.

TODAY'S THOUGHT
There is a truth deeper than any words can describe. Since none can describe it, none can lead you to it, but many will point the right way. You alone can go there.

TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Why would you trust in any fallible being to write an infallible word?

GARY'S DESERT ISLAND 100 Track 70
RUNRIG - Loch Lomond (live)
This makes me wish I had been there and been Scottish! Wonderful.

TRIVIA
Edinburgh Castle is built on top of an extinct volcano.

Yellowstone Park is built on top of an active Supervolcano. When it erupts, there will be worldwide consequences!

TODAY'S AFFIRMATION
I will never cease my focus on the peace and happiness that has no opposite.
