THIS DAY IN WW2 (9.12.1940)
In North Africa... The British launch an offensive in the western desert against the Italians. The Matilda Tanks are used to break into first the Nibeiwa camp then the Tummar West camp which both fall the first day.

From Rome... There are command changes and redistribution of ships and squadrons in the Italian navy. Admiral Riccardi replaces Admiral Cavagnari as Undersecretary of State and Head of Supermarina. Admiral Iachino replaces Campioni as Fleet Commander in Chief.

TODAY IN MY LIFE
A quiet day where the only urgent action is shopping. This will be a good test of my newly enhanced intuitive skills as I have been known to squander time when it is abundant. It's an opportunity to make some good headway on my book Emotional Management and do some marketing.

TODAY'S SELF-OBSERVATION
Language is a highly useful communicative tool but I have found it to be a clumsy tool for internal dialogue. Learning to use wordless intuitive internal dialogue has brought me much peace of mind. I now intend to push on and ultimately be entirely intuitive, almost completely eliminating word-based thought.

TODAY'S THOUGHT
To make another defenceless, by your gentleness relax them.

TODAY'S QUESTION FOR YOU
Can you destroy wrong? Or simply build more right?

TODAY'S ONELINER
Behind every great musician is a next door neighbor saying, "I wish he'd stop making that racket!"

TRIVIA
Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) is easily and safely made from fairly cheap chemicals. Mix solutions of hydroxylammonium chloride and sodium nitrite, stir and pass the gas given off through water to purify it. For chemical reaction demonstrations, it's usually collected in gas jars, and for "personal use" it's collected in balloons or large plastic bags.

TODAY'S AFFIRMATION
Today I will listen to the quiet calming voice of my inner guidance.
